We've done a good amount of packing so far, but of course much will wait until Thursday as you just can't take the procrastinator out of me! We are bringing 10 checked bags (mostly supplies), plus we'll each have a small carry-on suitcase and a backpack.
We appreciate prayer for our travels...for safety, that we would all cope well with the 27 hours of travel it will take to get to Rwanda (the trip back is 25 so we get a little break), and for good health the entire time. We do fly in and out of Brussels so please pray for peace and a hedge of protection as we are there.
We also appreciate prayer for the relationships we will be building there...with our sponsored kids and their families, with the kids we'll be serving, with the Africa New Life staff, with our team, and with the 75 kids our church family sponsors (we're hosting a party for them). We pray that God would open our eyes and hearts to needs that we can continue to advocate for once we come home.

So excited for you guys!!! Praying for a safe trip and that God would expand your hearts even more for the people of Rwanda. Love you and so inspired by your obedience to follow where God leads!
